This privacy notice applies to all data that Easytax processes from you and/or your organization and to all users of the Easytax website.

• Necessary for the performance of the agreement with you, such as for our services: providing tax advice, preparing tax returns, drawing up financial plans.
• Implementation of a legal obligation such as the retention of administrative data for a period of 7 years for the tax authorities.

• Consent, for example to send personal offers based on the data that Easytax has about you.

How is your data shared within Easytax?

We may supplement the information we collect with information we have obtained from other companies. For example, we use services from other agencies and companies, such as the tax authorities and payroll service agencies. We use this combined data for the following purposes:

When you use multiple services from us, we link information to provide you with the best possible service. This allows us to handle your questions, reports and complaints quickly and efficiently.

Improvement of services, offers:

We use the combined information to improve our service and provision of services. And to be able to adapt our services to what our customers want. We can also use the information to send you information, for example an offer that we think is interesting for you. Of course, we respect the choices that have been made regarding your privacy.

What do we do?

Providing data to third parties and strategic partners engaged by us:

Easytax sometimes uses third parties for certain services. If these third parties have access to your data when performing their services, Easytax has taken the necessary contractual and organizational measures to ensure that your data is only processed for the above purposes. Even if Easytax works with a party from outside the European Economic Area, we make clear agreements to ensure the security of your data. In such cases, so-called standard provisions have been concluded that have been approved by the European Commission.

Providing data to competent authorities:

Easytax is legally required to share your data with third parties in some cases. This may include providing data to competent authorities for control or a judicial investigation.

What rights do you have?

Inspection:

You have the right to access your personal data. This means that you can request which personal data we have of you and what we use that data for.

You can do this in various ways. Do you want to view the advice we have given you or the declaration we have made for you? Then we refer you first to the correspondence you have received from us for this by email, letter or other means of communication. You can also view your specified invoice for this.

If you cannot find the information you are looking for there, you can submit a request for access by sending a letter. Make sure that your name, address, landline and/or mobile phone number and a copy of a valid ID are included with this letter. Change:

You have the right to have your personal data corrected if it is incorrect. You can contact us for this. You will then receive a written response from us within 6 weeks.

Rights:

In certain situations, you have the right to have your personal data deleted. You have previously given Easytax permission to use your data, but you are now withdrawing that permission. We will then delete your data.

You have the right to receive the personal data that Easytax has of you. This way you can easily pass on that data to another service provider of the same type of service. You can also ask Easytax to give the data directly to that other organization.

You have the right to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (the AP). This can be done via the AP website: autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Website and contact forms

When you use the contact form on this website, we ask for your first name, e-mail address and message; your last name and company name are optional. When you sign up for our newsletter, we ask for your name and e-mail address. This information is sent to us by e-mail (through Google Workspace) and is not stored on the web server. We use it only to respond to your request or to send you the newsletter, and we keep it no longer than necessary for that purpose.

To protect the forms against spam we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes your IP address to distinguish visitors from automated traffic. The website is delivered through Cloudflare and hosted in the Netherlands by TransIP; both process technical data such as your IP address in server logs, for security and to keep the website running.

We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking on this website, and we do not place tracking cookies. Fonts and other files are served from our own domain, so visiting this website does not send data to Google Fonts or other external services. Links to third-party websites (such as our client portal, LinkedIn or Facebook) are ordinary links; those websites have their own privacy policies.

Google and Cloudflare are based in the United States; where personal data is processed outside the EEA, this takes place under the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, as described above.
